Exact estates, tasting formats, supplier-controlled fees, lunch arrangements and the final shared pickup plan are confirmed in writing before payment. A date request does not itself guarantee departure: the shared vehicle, route and supplier reservations must first be viable. This is a road-based shared tour and is not the separately operated Franschhoek Wine Tram.

Spend a full day exploring two of South Africa’s most celebrated wine regions on a shared journey with a coordinated route and timetable.
Stellenbosch combines Cape Dutch architecture, historic streets and a broad range of estates. Franschhoek offers a more intimate valley atmosphere, destination restaurants, boutique producers and dramatic mountain scenery.
The day is planned around three thoughtfully selected wine experiences. These may include guided tastings, cellar visits, food or chocolate pairings, boutique producers or another confirmed Winelands experience. The itinerary includes a short Stellenbosch orientation followed by two confirmed estate experiences, time in Franschhoek for an optional lunch or village visit, and a final tasting or selected experience.
The shared departure is coordinated by Donovan and delivered by Donovan or another approved registered guide, as confirmed before departure. Guests share the vehicle, pickup route and operating timetable with other confirmed travellers. Preferred estates may be requested, but every reservation remains subject to opening days, capacity, private events, seasonal schedules and supplier confirmation.
The published price starts from R1,995 per person. The final shared departure, selected estates, tasting or pairing inclusions, lunch arrangements and pickup plan are confirmed in writing before payment.

Fee information
Tasting fees: Wine-tasting and pairing fees for the confirmed itinerary are included when expressly listed. Optional upgrades, additional tastings and special experiences are additional unless confirmed in writing.
Meals: Lunch is arranged according to the confirmed itinerary and is included only when expressly listed in the quotation.
Important information
What to wear: Wear comfortable smart-casual clothing and walking shoes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a light layer for changing weather and cooler cellar conditions.
Weather alternative: Most tastings can continue in poor weather, but scenic stops, outdoor seating and estate activities may change. Donovan will adjust the operating order where necessary.
Dietary: Dietary requirements, allergies and preferences must be provided before booking. Accommodation remains subject to the selected venue confirming what it can safely provide.
Cancellation: Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by the accepted Along the Shaws quotation and Booking Terms. Confirmed estates, restaurants and special experiences may impose separate deadlines or non-refundable supplier charges.
