What an incredible experience with our incredible and knowledgeable guide Donovan! We had such an unforgettable experience on the Pinotage Tour. Will always recommend to friends and family and wine lovers. The selection of wineries and the history and of course the views were all breathtaking — see you soon again!!

Verified booking on the Exclusive Pinotage Wine Private Tour. Outstanding experience — highly recommended.

Great day out to Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. Excellent lunch at the Black Marlin at Miller's Point. Our tour guide, Omar, was very helpful and patient as we were delayed returning to Cape Town.

I was given the details of this company from good friends of mine here in Scotland. They raved about Along the Shaw's tours and Donovan during their stay in Cape Town. Their service and passion was beyond our expectations. Thank you Donovan and his team for making our stay an awesome one. I'll definitely recommend you to all my friends.

We used Along the Shaw's Tours and Transfers on our last visit to Cape Town 2 years ago and we have booked them for our next visit in 2026. We've left everything to Donovan and his team to plan. Our input was to highlight places of interest and they sent an itinerary to match. We agreed and it was really hassle free.

Donovan is an excellent tour guide- a wealth of knowledge, reliable, and put in extra effort to make our day in Capetown so memorable. Really enjoyed his company- he's terrific!

My wife has already reviewed this, but I want to add my cents. We were able to show our friends from Johannesburg the best that Cape Town has to offer and this is thanks to Donovan and the team at Along The Shaws. What an experience! We booked a wine tour and the entire experience from booking to the tour itself far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Donovan, really made us feel like tourists in our own city! What beautiful memories were created. I would definitely recommend Along the Shaws Tours & Transfers for an unforgettable experience. Keep up the excellent work!

I'm a Capetonian, and I recently had the pleasure of showing my friend from Wales around our beautiful city. We booked a city tour and Cape Peninsula tour with Along the Shaws Tours and Transfers, and it was absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Caleb, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made the experience truly unforgettable. What struck me most was the depth of information he shared about my own city - it was like seeing Cape Town through new eyes. The vehicle was spotless, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Along the Shaws Tours and Transfers, especially Caleb and the team. Donovan Shaw and his wife Yolanda have built an amazing company, and I'll definitely be recommending them to everyone!

Donovan Shaw is a wonderful tour guide. He planned a tour of Cape Town and Stellenbosch that was specifically tailored to what we wanted to see and do. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and communicative. I cannot say enough great things about our time spent with him. We will definitely call Donovan on our next visit to Cape Town!! Six stars out of five!!

Amazing Experience. Friendly and Knowledgeable Guide. Was Amazing Fun and will always highly recommend. Donovan and his team are fun and dedicated to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The Curated Pinotage Tours are fantastic. Looking forward to next tour.

Donovan has been amazing organising our transport over Xmas to various vineyards. Great communication & lovely safe drivers. Highly recommend. Thank you! Lynn

The team were so professional and helpful from the booking till after our tour, we were so impressed with the service as well as the vehicle we were provided. Truly the best! Thanks once again Donovan and team!

The owner Donovan has such an amazing personality and is extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend this experience!!!

Amazing Trip to Franschhoek. Donovan was the most excellent host for our trip wine tasting in Franschhoek. From the moment I made contact Donovan was very professional and most helpful in helping me plan our trip. His wine knowledge really helped. He also took it upon himself to book our chosen venues. Which was very helpful and reschedule as we fell behind on timings. It was an entertaining journey from Cape Town as he engaged with all of us in the taxi and shared some interesting knowledge. I can't recommend Donovan enough if you are looking for a private wine tour and know next time we are in Cape Town we will book him again for another trip to the vineyards or to excursions further afield. Thanks Donovan you made our trip very memorable.

I can't thank Donovan enough for making our trip to Cape Town a wonderful learning experience and so much fun. He brought the energy and kept our group smiling. We were a large group of nearly 35 people. He kept us moving and on time, knew how to anticipate traffic and group needs, knew all the great spots to see, and was super flexible. Donovan knows this city and it's history well. I loved our chats, and left Cape Town feeling like I now know an amazing guide to call up when I return and also a friend. He's the man!

Donovan responded to my questions and queries very promptly, particularly when I needed to arrange one of my shuttles at very late notice, which he was able to accommodate.

Donovan organised a fantastic trip for us around Franschoek. He even booked everything for us so all we had to do was turn up! Omer (our driver) was also absolutely lovely and he took great care of us. Thanks so much for a great day out!!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Our guided tour of Cape Town was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Donovan. From the moment we met him, it felt less like being with a tour guide and more like being with extended family. I was a mom traveling with my 8- and 6-year-old children and my mother-in-law, and Donovan made the experience perfect for all of us. He has a gift—he doesn't just show you the sights, he makes you feel them. He educated us with so much knowledge and passion, all while keeping the mood light with laughter and fun. He became part of our family fun instantly, making sure every moment was meaningful and memorable. Cape Town itself is breathtaking, but having Donovan guide us made it absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about the experience. If you want someone who goes above and beyond, who connects with you on a personal level, and who makes the city come alive, Donovan is the one. Truly an experience we'll treasure forever. Thank you, Donovan!

We booked a 2 day tour via Donavan for the wine tasting and for the Penguins and cape point. It was an easy process to arrange and the vineyards booked were fantastic. Our driver Jawaad was very friendly and knowledgeable and we had a fantastic trip.

Donovan enthusiasm and knowledge really added to our whole experience! He made our day from start to finish and knew exactly what properties to take us to for the best experience!
