The published package includes the three confirmed pairing experiences, but estate menus, wine selections, tasting prices, dietary substitutions and operating hours remain supplier-controlled. Exact ingredients, sample counts and presentation are not hard-coded. Any material pre-booking change to a rate, venue or pairing format is reconfirmed in writing before payment. This wine-led itinerary is restricted to guests aged 18 and older.

This signature experience is built around a substantial curated breakfast-style pairing of selected local biltong, artisanal cheese, fresh bread and estate wines at the first confirmed venue.
The day continues through three carefully selected estates. The first hosts the curated breakfast-style pairing, the second provides a cheese-and-wine tasting, and the third concludes the day with a biltong-and-wine tasting. The confirmed tasting or pairing at each of the three estates is included in the published price. Extra tastings, premium upgrades, cellar tours and additional pairings are included only when expressly added to the booking.
The experience is designed around quality, conversation and unhurried pacing rather than a guaranteed number of samples. Estate menus, vintages and available wines change throughout the year, so the exact selection is confirmed by the suppliers operating on the day.
A formal lunch is not included in the standard price because the breakfast-style pairing is substantial. Time may be allowed for an optional light lunch in Franschhoek if guests are still hungry, and the meal is paid separately.
The vehicle and itinerary are private to the confirmed group. The journey is coordinated by Donovan and delivered by Donovan or another approved registered guide, as confirmed before departure. The guide handles the driving, route, estate reservations and timing throughout the day.
This adult wine-focused itinerary is suited to couples, friends and special occasions. Guests must be aged 18 or older to participate in the wine tastings. Dietary, allergy, mobility and non-drinking requirements should be disclosed before booking so that suitable arrangements can be requested and confirmed.

Important information
What to wear: Wear comfortable smart-casual clothing and walking shoes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a light layer for cooler cellar spaces or changing weather.
Weather alternative: The tour normally operates in varied weather. Outdoor viewpoints, garden walks or scenic stops may be shortened, reordered or replaced when rain, heat, wind or other conditions affect comfort or access. Confirmed indoor tastings remain subject to estate operations.
Dietary: The breakfast-style pairing commonly contains meat, dairy and gluten. Dietary requirements, allergies and preferences must be disclosed before booking. Vegetarian, non-pork, dairy-free, gluten-sensitive or other substitutions may be requested but remain subject to the confirmed estate’s safe availability.
Booking notice: Book at least 48 hours in advance. Earlier booking is strongly recommended for weekends, public holidays, peak season and special dietary requests because the signature pairing and all three estate reservations require confirmation.
Cancellation: The accepted Along the Shaws Booking Terms and any confirmed estate conditions govern cancellation and rescheduling. Prepaid tastings, pairings, restaurant reservations or special supplier arrangements may become non-refundable after they are booked. The applicable terms are confirmed before payment.
